A 50% deposit is required to reserve space for a Professional Yachtmaster Training (PYTUSA) course.
Space on any course will be awarded to students that pay their deposit first. The balance of payment is due on the course start date.
Cancellations are required to be made ten (10) business days prior to the course start date and should be made via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Refunds are given if a student cancels and gives the required amount of notice stated above, the refunded amount will be course amount less a 10% administration fee.
Course dates may be postponed by the student for a future date if available, the exception will be with a Master of Yachts 200gt Limited sail practical, where dates can’t be changed.
If PYTUSA is forced to reschedule a course, a notice period of 2 weeks will be given in advance of the course start date. If the student is unable to attend the course the deposit will be returned in full.
You will be subject to a 10% administration fee for rescheduling within 10 days of your scheduled course.
With Master of Yachts Limited Practical Courses, space is limited to 5 persons. PYTUSA will make every effort to operate one practical course the week following the theory course for students to complete the entire course in two weeks. Space will be awarded to those who provide the required deposit and in the order in which their deposit was received. Other students will be scheduled for a second practical where possible.
Please be aware that there may be certain occasions where Professional Yachtmaster Training (PYTUSA) is unable to run a scheduled course due to circumstances beyond our control. The weather, mechanical issues or not having the minimum number of students required in order to comply with our safety requirements may result in all or part of a course being cancelled.
It is our booking and payment policy that in such cases Professional Yachtmaster Training (PYTUSA) reserves the right to reschedule the training or refund the student at the earliest opportunity.
