PWC – Personal Watercraft Operators Course Theory and Practical for Instructors
This is a one-day theory and practical course designed to cover the elements of ensuring that charter guests are kept safe while operating a PWC aboard Superyachts and under the supervision of an IYT PWC instructor.
- 5 Students (max)
- 2 years on a vessel with PWC experience
- Minimum age of 21 years of age
- Have a commercial 200gt license or higher
On successfully completing this course, students will be given an IYT instructors certificate. IYT Instructors will then be able to issue Professional Yachtmaster Training PWC certificates to charter guests. PYT guest certificates can not be given to anyone under the age of 16 years old, are only valid while on the vessel that the instructor is a crewmember and only for the duration of the charter.
All guests must have completed all the tasks and been made aware of limitations listed on the Record of compliance with personal water craft training criteria. Please see sample here.
Charter guests that successfully complete the course will be given a course completion certificate for the duration of the charter. Please see sample here.
